Terms of Service
Last Updated: February 24, 2026
1. Agreement & Contracting Entity
By installing ReviewSentinel to your Slack workspace, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a company, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that entity.
ReviewSentinel is a service operated by PolarSpin Oy (Finland, Business ID 2617965-1).
2. Third-Party Disclaimer
ReviewSentinel is an independent tool and is NOT affiliated with, authorized, maintained, sponsored, or endorsed by Apple Inc. (App Store) or Google LLC (Google Play Store).
3. Service Description & Availability
ReviewSentinel monitors public App Store and Google Play reviews and posts them to Slack. We rely on public data availability, so service behavior may vary if these third-party platforms change their data structure or rate limits.
4. Subscriptions, Billing & Taxes
Growth and Scale plans are offered as a monthly or annual subscription billed via Stripe. You may cancel at any time via the billing link in the app home or by contacting support. Your access continues until the end of your billing cycle.
Prices are shown tax-inclusive where indicated at checkout. Stripe calculates and applies applicable taxes based on customer location and tax status. Where reverse-charge or other business tax treatment applies, the customer remains responsible for required tax reporting and compliance.
5. Customer Responsibilities
- Use the service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with platform policies.
- Maintain control of your workspace admins, credentials, and channel permissions.
- Verify that channel routing and app settings are correct for your intended use.
6. Security, Incidents & Cooperation
We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service. If we identify a material security incident affecting your service data, we will notify affected customers without undue delay and provide reasonable cooperation details.
7. Warranty Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation and disclaim implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or data.
Our total aggregate liability for claims arising from or related to the service will not exceed the fees paid (or payable) by you for the service during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where limitation is not permitted under applicable law.
9. Indemnity
You will indemnify ReviewSentinel and PolarSpin Oy against third-party claims arising from your unlawful use of the service, material violation of these Terms, or infringement caused by your content or instructions.
10. Force Majeure
Neither party is liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond reasonable control, including internet outages, power failures, labor disputes, governmental actions, or failures of third-party platforms.
11. Claim Window
To the extent permitted by law, any claim related to the service must be brought within 12 months after the cause of action first arose.
12. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland, excluding conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute not resolved amicably will be submitted to the competent courts of Finland.
13. Data Processing
Our Privacy Policy describes how personal data is handled. For business customers requiring a data processing agreement, see our Data Processing Addendum.
