Getting Started

Step 1

How do I track my first app?

Do this: Open the ReviewSentinel Home Tab in Slack, click Track New App, and paste your store URL.

Then we will: figure out the platform and region from your link, run an immediate first check, pull in up to the latest 5 reviews for that app and country, and keep checking every 10 minutes.

Step 2

What are Intelligence Streams?

Do this: Choose which stream types should route to Slack: πŸ›‘οΈ Bugs, πŸš€ Features, πŸ’³ Service, or ✨ Praise.

Then we will: send only the review types you selected, add translation when it’s enabled, avoid duplicate posts, and still route reviews with a fallback method if AI is temporarily unavailable.

Need to adjust later? Use Edit Streams on a tracked app card in the Home tab to update routing without untracking the app.

Why You Might Not See Reviews Yet

If tracking is active but nothing appears in Slack, it is usually one of these:

Invalid or incomplete store URL The app cannot be added unless we can detect a valid App Store or Google Play ID. Fix: copy and paste the full public store URL directly from the App Store or Google Play page.
No recent reviews in that storefront First run checks up to the latest 5 reviews for the app + country, then runs every 10 minutes. Expectation: no message is posted until a matching new review appears in that app + country feed.
Selected streams do not match We only post review categories you enabled (Bugs, Features, Service, Praise). Fix: open Track New App and enable the stream types you want to receive.
Review was already posted Duplicate review notifications are prevented per subscription. Expectation: the same review will not be re-posted for the same tracked subscription.
Channel or access mismatch Routing works to the selected public channel. If channel permissions changed, re-open Track New App and confirm destination + stream settings. Fix: re-select a public channel and verify ReviewSentinel can post in it.

Timing note: an initial check runs right after setup, then ReviewSentinel checks every 10 minutes. Slack messages only appear when a new review matches your selected streams.

Subscription & Billing

How do I upgrade to Pro?

Do this: try to track a second app from your Home tab and follow the upgrade prompt.

What to expect:

  • β€’ Checkout is handled securely by Stripe.
  • β€’ Your workspace unlocks Growth or Scale access immediately after successful payment.
  • β€’ Growth gives you 6 streams Β· Scale gives you unlimited streams for unrestricted routing.

Removed the app but still have a subscription?

You can cancel, update payment, or download invoices without needing Slack. Stripe verifies your identity via magic link.

Manage Billing

How do I manage my subscription?

Open the Home tab and click Manage Subscription to open the Stripe billing portal. Or visit reviewsentinel.app/manage-billing β€” no Slack needed.

How do I cancel?

Cancel from the billing portal β€” inside Slack via Manage Subscription, or at /manage-billing. Your plan returns to Free at the end of the billing period.

Do you provide invoices?

Yes. Stripe provides invoices and receipts in the billing portal. For procurement or custom invoicing, contact our team.

How do I uninstall the app?

In Slack, open your workspace apps list, find ReviewSentinel, and choose Remove App.

When removed, we immediately deactivate your workspace installation and clear Slack access tokens from active use. Your tracking configuration is retained so you can reinstall and resume quickly. If you want full data deletion, email support.
