Connect your first app

Open the Home tabTrack New App → paste your store URL. We detect the platform, app ID, and region automatically — no manual configuration.

ReviewSentinel checks every 10 minutes. The first matching review posts to your configured channel automatically — with AI classification, sentiment analysis, and translation built in. No further setup required.

Weekly Digest (optional): Click 📊 Weekly Digest in the Home tab to get a Monday morning summary — bugs, features, service, praise, avg rating, and week-over-week trends posted to any channel you choose. Perfect for sprint reviews and standups.

Why You Might Not See Reviews Yet

If tracking is active but nothing appears in Slack, it is usually one of these:

Invalid or incomplete store URL The app cannot be added unless we can detect a valid App Store or Google Play ID. Fix: copy and paste the full public store URL directly from the App Store or Google Play page.
No recent reviews in that storefront First run checks up to the latest 5 reviews for the app + country, then runs every 10 minutes. Expectation: no message is posted until a matching new review appears in that app + country feed.
Review filters do not match We only post review categories you enabled (Bugs, Features, Service, Praise). Fix: open Track New App and enable the review filters you want to receive.
Review was already posted Duplicate review notifications are prevented per subscription. Expectation: the same review will not be re-posted for the same tracked subscription.
Channel or access mismatch Routing works to the selected public channel. If channel permissions changed, re-open Track New App and confirm destination + review filter settings. Fix: re-select a public channel and verify ReviewSentinel can post in it.

Timing note: an initial check runs right after setup, then ReviewSentinel checks every 10 minutes. Slack messages only appear when a new review matches your selected review filters.

Subscription & Billing

How do I upgrade to Pro?

Do this: try to track a second app from your Home tab and follow the upgrade prompt.

What to expect:

  • • Checkout is handled securely by Stripe.
  • • Your workspace unlocks Growth or Scale access immediately after successful payment.
  • • Growth gives you 6 streams · Scale gives you unlimited streams for unrestricted routing.

Removed the app but still have a subscription?

You can cancel, update payment, or download invoices without needing Slack. Stripe verifies your identity via magic link.

Manage Billing

How do I manage my subscription?

Open the Home tab and click Manage Subscription to open the Stripe billing portal. Or visit reviewsentinel.app/manage-billing — no Slack needed.

How do I cancel?

Cancel from the billing portal — inside Slack via Manage Subscription, or at /manage-billing. Your plan returns to Free at the end of the billing period.

Do you provide invoices?

Yes. Stripe provides invoices and receipts in the billing portal. For procurement or custom invoicing, contact our team.

How do I uninstall the app?

In Slack, open your workspace apps list, find ReviewSentinel, and choose Remove App.

When removed, we immediately deactivate your workspace installation and clear Slack access tokens from active use. Your tracking configuration is retained so you can reinstall and resume quickly. If you want full data deletion, email support.
